Shetland Ponies
Shetlands are wonderful little ponies.
Originally from the Sheltand Isles of Scotland the breed only reaches about a metre at the top of their shoulder (or withers as it is known).
This means they are easy to handle and need only a relatively small area in which to be kept.
Learning to Ride
Our Shetlands are all well handled and happy to have Children ride them.
The ponies are also very good with children brushing their mane and coats.
Like all animals though, you need to be kind and treat them with respect.
